Key Job Activities:
As a Plant Associate, your daily work helps safeguard public health and support businesses across the U.S.
Every day, you’ll play a critical role in handling and processing regulated medical waste to ensure it’s safely disposed of or decontaminated. You’ll be working in a plant environment where safety and accuracy are top priorities.
• Unload and sort incoming medical waste from trucks
• Sort waste and prepare it for disposal.
• Scan materials into our tracking system (BioTrack)
• Operate wash units for reusable containers.
• Decontaminate vehicles and reload tubs for reuse.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Communicate with plant supervisors about workflow and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Physical & Work Environment Details:
• Regular physical activity: lifting, bending, standing, walking.
• Exposure to noise, odors, and temperature changes.
• Safety gear provided and required.

Education:
What you need to join us:
• 1 year of work experience (plant or industrial setting) preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Driver’s license preferred
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and performance standards
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
