Position Purpose:

The Financial Analyst Sr. is responsible for creating the monthly Fleet and Fuel financial forecast, the annual budget, specific project analysis and assisting with the annual Long Range Plan. The Financial Analyst Sr. will also conduct on-going and ad hoc Fleet and Fuel analysis utilizing various systems and data sources to transform data points into meaningful information. They will be responsible for learning all business rules and apply those rules in the building of queries and reports. This role will also liaise with departmental contacts in order to formulate analysis for operational, financial, product pricing, budget, and Vendor data reporting and analysis.

Key Job Activities:

1) Gathers, interprets, and feeds many data sets that derive the monthly forecast. Analyze the results, trends, and make suggestions for forecast changes. Track and explain changes from month to month, and assist in actual to forecast variance explanations. This person must:
• Learn the rules, processes and drivers that affect Fleet and Fuel billing, staffing, budgeting, financial reporting, and sales
• Report on monthly activity and variances
• Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for revenues and expenses
• Interact with all levels of the organization to analyze and report on variances from Fleet and Fuel budget/forecast and develop more effective budget/forecast processes
• Affectively manipulate large sets of data


2) Provides Fleet and Fuel analysis for all areas of the company in support of the business needs.


3) Performs other related duties as required or requested. This includes but is not limited to providing support to finance and / or other teams and special projects as needed.


4) Look for and implement process improvements across all areas of Fleet and Fuel.


Required Education: in Bachelors

Experience (North America & LATAM):

3-5 years of Financial analyst experience

Certifications and/or Licenses:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
