Job Description


This position will monitor and ensure that ongoing regulatory compliance provisions and requirements are maintained for applicable provincial and state business licensing including Health and Safety provisions, for all of Communication Solutions Canada.

This responsibility includes the communication and delivery of adequate controls and documentation to conform with industry practices and governmental regulations.
This position will provide support and direction for all compliance issues including identifying and advising management of potential areas of compliance vulnerabilities.
The position requires a high level of confidentiality of both personal and company information while maintaining license information. Regulatory agencies include but not limited to:
Do Not Call (DNC) Legislation, Privacy Compliance, Gaming Commission Licenses, Charitable Fundraising licensing and bond requirements in both Canada and United States, various Customer Protection Provincial regulations and Occupational Health and Safety Ministry.
• Directs the development and implementation of the health, safety and licensing compliance related procedures and programs across Communication Solutions – Canada.
• Ensures timely renewals of applicable licenses, preforming assessment of ongoing requirements by Province, State and/or client.
• Proactively identifies existing and emerging legislation relevant to services, ensuring awareness of the corporations obligations and responsibilities.
• Provides and maintains compliance guidelines, documentation and updates to applicable departments
• Fulfills reporting obligations to regulatory bodies
• Researches requests for information regarding health, safety or licensing as it relates to the risk of the business.
• Liaison with Company Insurance provider, for client insurance requirements as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure scripting and client contracts meet licensing requirements for outbound campaigns.

Job Requirements


• University Degree/College Diploma (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years in an analytical, legal or supervisory position that involves research, communication and training preferred
• Proficiency with MS office applications including advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Fast pace working conditions
• Travelling to other locations may be required • Ability to obtain a Notary designation will be considered an asset
