•*This position can be based out of Stericycle’s Chicago or Northbrook office.  If based in Chicago, weekly travel (1-2 days/week) is required to Stericycle’s Northbrook office**

This position plays an integral part in enabling insightful Marketing Analytics used in decision-making at Stericycle Compliance Solutions. The Manager, Digital Measurements is a proactive, analytical and technically-skilled leader who will advise the SCS Marketing teams on analytical measurements necessary to successfully monitor campaign performance and uncover insights to drive future performance.

Key Position Activities:
1) Establish and sustain the marketing and digital channels data and analytics discipline.
2) Lead the marketing team in using data to inform the creation, execution, and measure performance of growth strategies across campaigns and channels, including sales funnel analysis.
3) Lead the development and execution of fact-based reporting, analysis and analytical models used to enhance decision-making across the marketing function.
4) Coordinate Analytics efforts between various stakeholders within the Marketing department including the Go-to-Market, Digital, Content, and Creative Services teams in addition to other departments such as Sales, Customer Experience, and Finance. Interpret and communicate results of campaign performance and channel health. Present findings, as necessary.
5) Develop and maintain marketing data governance standards across various platforms. Lead the development of on-going reporting for standards adherence monitoring and governance process improvement.
6) Implement analytical approaches and methodologies and assist in the interpretation of results.
7) Perform other related duties or participate in special projects, as assigned or requested.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or other quantitative-related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience demonstrating a high level of initiative and critical thinking to translate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions.

Four or more years’ experience in Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT or Operations including at least three years of analytical experience supporting Marketing Analytics. Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of the business drivers of revenue growth and profitability, data-driven analysis and complex modeling.

Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, gain a thorough understanding of the project assigned, map processes and ensure that the project is completed on time and per specification, in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Analytics experience engaging in several types of systems such as:
• Web Analytics Platform – Google Analytics (required), Adobe Analytics, etc.
• Data Visualization Tool – Tableau (preferred), Qlik Sense, Domo, etc.
• Data Prep and Blending Tool – Alteryx (preferred), SAS, SPSS Modeler, etc.
• Social Analytics Platform – HootSuite, Sprout, Brandwatch, etc.
• Voice Analytics Platform – Invoca (preferred), DialogTech, etc.
• Marketing Automation Platform – Eloqua (preferred), Marketo, Pardot, etc.
• Customer Relationship Management Platform – (preferred), Oracle, SAP, etc.

Experience in planning, implementing and measuring digital channels and email optimization through A/B testing and related statistics.

Experience leading multi-channel and multi-touch digital campaign reporting from set-up to post-campaign analyses. Such analyses should include ROI and Attribution analyses.

Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrates strong presentation, organizational, detail oriented, and process driven skills.

Demonstrates strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Microsoft Visio is a plus. Additional proficiencies in SQL, data management/ETL tools and statistical software applications strongly preferred. Familiarity with machine learning and data science is a plus.

Position requires periodic international travel (5-10%) to work with Canada-based Marketing team members.
