Job Description

The ERP – Director of SAP Technology provides leadership and technical support for various business units utilizing the SAP S/4 HANA platform and other systems. In addition, this role will establish standards and develop quality code and associated documentation across enterprise-wide Stericycle.
Actively works with Business Resources to determine the technical solution that best meets the business require-ments, including but not limited to: Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain, Planning, and Customer Relationship Management.
Key Position Activities:
1) Leads, participates or coordinates end-to-end integration of various technology implementations
2) Determine detailed system integration requirements based on business requirements provided by the Operations groups.
3) Provides technical expertise and solutions related to integration of SAP and other applications
4) Understands SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver architecture and related SAP products as well as interfaces with other related systems and underlying database technologies.
5) Provide technological and strategic guidance and leadership in the development of both internal and external software projects as well as infrastructure.
6) Work with IT Leadership on the SAP Strategic roadmap, investment, project execution, vendor man-agement, solution architecture and successful launch of new solutions and related applications
7) Understands business processes, accounting principles, systems configuration, enhancements and data or enables related processes.
8) Provides expertise for the estimation and financial analysis of projects.
9) Participates in weekly team meetings and internal initiatives to review outstanding issues and/or to discuss new trends or projects
10) Manages and completes complex assignment and related projects
11) Provide training, mentorship and ongoing support to IT and other stakeholders.
12) Performs other related duties as required or requested.
13) Uses best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve products and services.
14) Demonstrate a balance between operational and strategic mindset

Job Requirements

• 12+ years of SAP hands-on experience with deep knowledge of SAP technical architecture
• Strong SAP S/4 Hana understanding.
• SAP functional knowledge a plus.
• Some experience with SAP Data governance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Involvement in at least 5 SAP full life-cycle implementations.
• Experience in managing a complex SAP landscape/environment that supports core business functions (e.g. finance, procurement, customer relationship management) in accordance with SAP and industry best practices.
• Experience managing teams of people
• Experience working with, managing an AMS provider
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 8+ years of experience in diverse professional roles.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Can work effectively with remote teams.
