Job Description


**Territory for this role will be TN and Southern KY**

Educate customers on extensive OSHA, HIPAA compliance as well as HazCom compliance/regulations via slide presenta-tions, on site facility OSHA Evaluations/ HIPAA Gap Analysis and customer consultation. Assist and support Preferred Customers with OSHA citations/violations and attend informal OSHA conferences.
Key Job Activities Provide onsite services as designed to include presenting most recent required power point presentations, OSHA site evaluations/HIPAA; gap analysis, Mystericycle.com system overview, completion of one safely plan and evaluation with recommendations of the Safety Data Sheets/SDS manual; provide required “leave behind” folder/documents as well as marketing and other approved materials, as appropriate.
Manage assigned territory/book of business to ensure compliance services are professionally provided to all customers within the established parameters/due dates; schedule customer on site visits within the established parameters; respond to all phone calls and emails from customers to provide answers/resolutions to compliance questions and information needed to assist the customer with achieving compliance.
Possess level of technology knowledge to enable you to utilize electronic technology to deliver and complete the onsite visit and upload customer documents/reports ASAP including but limited to power point, word, excel, etc.
Continuously study and maintain current competency in the areas of bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA and HazCom regulations to enhance proficiencies as well as continuing to study CDC protocols for health care workers.
Assist and support Preferred Customers with OSHA citations/violations to address issues and improve compliance; attend informal OSHA conference.
Participate in speaking engagements, as requested, to professional organizations and other groups.
Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Job Requirements


Education and Experience Required (including certifications and/or software requirements for the position):
College degree in a clinical discipline such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Dental Technology, Medical Administration, etc. or the equivalent in related work experience. Three or more years of “hands on” clinical or administrative experience in a healthcare environment and/or OSHA/HIPAA compliance experience, demonstrating the ability to professionally and competently speak to medical professionals on the subject of OSHA and HIPAA regulations to include Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, and the areas of HIPAA regulation under Title 2.
Must have thoroughly mastered the Centers for Disease Control protocols for post exposure prophylaxis for health care workers who may be exposed to pathogens in their work.
Must be able to guide healthcare workers to where to find answers to complex questions about OSHA and HIPAA Compli-ance.
Completion, required upon joining our Team, of structured 30-hour online OSHA training and required online HIPAA training resulting in certification of course completion as well as Stericy-cle facilitated compliance training as part of the job orientation.
The following is preferred: Registered Nurse, Registered Dental Hygienist, Radiology Technologist, Medical Practice Ad-ministrator or other Healthcare Professional.
