About the Role


•         Electrical - Must know 3-phase theory and wiring techniques including troubleshooting, component replacement, and motor wiring.  Must know general wiring techniques for 110V system. Must know how to use a multi-meter for safe work practices and troubleshooting.


•         Control Wiring – Must have a general knowledge of control wiring and electric schematics.


•         Pneumatic systems - Must have experience with general pneumatic systems, including air compressor operation and maintenance and general system troubleshooting.


•         Hydraulics – Must know how to maintain a hydraulic system and complete general troubleshooting and adjustments.


•         Hand Tools– Must be familiar with the use of all power tools including drills, chop saws, reciprocating saw, grinder, and pneumatic hammers.


•         Welding - Must be able to use acetylene torches, Arc and MIG welders.


•         Pipe Fitting – Must be able to complete maintenance and installation of all piping types (PVC, Steel, Stainless)


•         Capable of performing all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on all equipment throughout the plant.


•         Identify equipment malfunctions, generate work orders, and determine proper repair procedures.


•         Document results through completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required.


•         Support all policies and procedures as established within the Stericycle’s policies and procedures manual.


•         Perform any general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy and efficient facility.


•         Vigorously supports Stericycle’s commitment to Safety.

Job Requirements

•Education equivalent to Associates Degree from two-year college or technical school, or the equivalent in related work experience.
•Six or more months of related experience and/or training, demonstrating the ability to identify repairs that are needed and to assure schedule production run.
•Possession of boiler, welding, or electrical certification or license required.  *LI
