Job Description


Retain current and acquire new customers via selling existing value added services, education on programs and providing retention offers.

 Key Job Activities:

  • Negotiate customer contracts and grow membership programs to independent and group/corporate accounts.
  • Timely and accurate completion of daily call activity reports and ensure the CRM system is kept up to date and used effectively to drive sales and retention performance.
  • Achievement of all Key Performance Indicators on a weekly basis.
  • Work effectively with other team members and independently where required.
  • Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives.
  • Review all incoming escalations and work with other departments such as Billings, Customer Service, and Operations etc. towards a resolution.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Completes detailed research on customer history in existing systems to understand open issues.
  • Ability to work flexible working hours as necessary.

Job Requirements


  • Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in sales or marketing, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating good knowledge of business processes and sales cycles.
  • Two to five years of inside sales and/or retention experience, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and develop existing and prospective accounts. 
  • Demonstrates general knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as experience with a technology based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, SAP and Salesforce not necessary but an asset.
  • Target driven with strong organizational skills.
  • Dynamic, energetic, ambitious, positive, enthusiastic.
  • Able to adopt a highly organized, pro-active and systematic approach.
  • Demonstrates the desire and ability to learn company products and services with the ability to match features, advantages and benefits to each individual customer.
  • Capable of dealing with any customer no matter size or complexity of case within agreed inside sales parameters.
  • Dedicated team player with drive and initiative.
  • Articulate and friendly telephone manner with high level of experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet and exceed set realistic targets.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Demonstration of a general knowledge of health and safety regulations desirable.
