Job Description


The Marketing Automation Manager for Stericycle Communication Solutions will be our Marketo expert and champion.  They will be responsible for optimizing our current system, implementing best practices, and helping us scale.  They will play an important role in lead generation including; bringing prospects into the funnel, maturing prospects into sales qualified leads and measuring engagement through the lead lifecycle.   

Activities

  • Day-to-Day Marketo Support: Our go-to-person for helping marketing and sales with all Marketo needs: building campaigns, lists, ongoing maintenance and oversight.
  • Inbound & Outbound Marketing Automation: Work with the creative and marketing teams to develop and implement new ways to communicate with prospects, helping to A/B test, track, and benchmark performance.
  • Communication to Current Customers: Help build out the ability to communicate with our current customers, including operational communications, cross-sell messaging and customer retention.
  • Lead Scoring Model: Working with leadership to develop, implement and optimize our lead scoring model.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Assist in the standardization and socialization of marketing data and performance. Working closely with our Sale Operations Team, to make Marketo and marketing data accessible, accurate, and actionable to help give insight to senior leadership across the entire company.
  • Training & Adoption: Assist in process adherence and training Sales Reps, Account Managers, and leaders.
  • Data Quality and Targeting: Monitor and maintain data quality within Marketo and integrated systems/tools.  Continue to optimize our database with fresh records and data that is aligned with our target markets and attractive audiences.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work exceptionally closely with our Salesforce.com Admin sure our systems work together for optimal performance.  We want a best-in-class integration, one that supports our automated efforts an organizational goals.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's or college degree in a marketing discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B services environment
  • 3+ years Marketing Automation and CRM experience (Marketo and Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Experience developing and maintaining lead nurturing programs, email marketing and drip campaigns
  • Experience improving marketing and sales alignment and driving marketing strategy
