Job Description


The Marketing Analyst on the Automation Team will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Marketing department system integrations; including the Marketing Department’s platforms needed for lead nurturing, support marketing analytics and the sales and marketing database in Salesforce.com.
This position will support the marketing tactics consistent with the company’s strategic goals and priorities and direction from the Manager, Marketing Automation.

Key Job Activities:

Marketing Automation Program

This role will support the Marketing Automation team in the daily maintenance and optimization of Stericycle Compliance solutions marketing automation platforms.

Key configuration elements include:

  • List segmentation and tracking
  • Reporting and analysis
  • Campaign logic and development
  • Email Creation

Ongoing maintenance and oversight includes:

  • Ensuring all emails are prepared on time and according to best practices
  • Managing of datasets within the marketing automation platform including the removal of unsubscribes and hard bouncebcaks
  • Campaign configuration and adjustments
  • Systems integration support

Project Implementation

  • Support the roll-out of new program tactics and initiatives
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholder expectations to strict timelines

System Integration and Lead Management Process

  • Respond to and troubleshoot marketing lead routing issues in a timely manner
  • Support the build of Eloqua forms and follow Sales lead flow processes
  • Support the implementation of new integrations within both Eloqua platforms
  • Manage the Salesforce.com lead exception queue

Other

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders regarding programs, campaigns and results.
  • Maintain sound working relationships with vendors. Ensures projects are managed appropriately and funds are spent according to budget. Drives process and efficiency improvements in all ongoing initiatives.
  • Ensures high quality, timely roll out of programs through effective collaboration
  • Complete other duties as required

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's or college degree in a marketing discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B services environment
  • 1+ years’ experience working in marketing automation software (e.g. Eloqua)
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com or similar CRM system
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, mobile optimization and email best practices
  • Strong Computer skills are required, including advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability of a strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Extremely strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project management skills
