Job Description

The main purpose of the position is to support the Transportation Logistics Team and Branch Operations by support-ing the service delivery process. Primarily, will be the development, testing and implementation of financial models that support evolving operational process. This role has ownership to the KPI models created through collaboration with the Transportation Logistics team, corporate initiatives and branch operations, the updating and sustaining of these models to drive operational excellence within the field. The KPI’s and metrics that are supported from the crea-tion of these models will involve analysis of the efficiency of our service cycles in terms of the overall fleet size, mileage driven, service on-time reliability, resource planning and using sophisticated route planning systems and methodologies as well as assisting in their implementation to executing our service offering. This individual will be one of the primary persons for interfacing business requirements identified and developed by the Transportation Logistics Team to be translated and interfaced with the IT department.
Key Job Activities
Daily development: Measurement / Reporting, KPI’s & Analytics; Density Model Analysis and Tools to sustain; Supporting coordinator of SAP & Roadshow and/or Territory Planner; Market Realignment & Rebalances; Centralized Routing.
Ownership and ongoing development of the Monthly Trending Reports that will support evolving business requirements. 3rd party vendor resourcing as required for ongoing report development.
Ad-hoc analysis scenarios
Facilitate customer(s) database movement all branch realignments and rebalances.
New branch set-up in software systems, measurement models and intranet site(s).
Liaison between IT and Transportation Logistics team
Support business process improvement, ensuring our business processes are constantly challenged to provide the best value.
Set-up and maintain modeling software for branch network analysis and branch rebalancing – trou-bleshoot and interact with IT.
Conduct network analysis, 'what if scenarios', master routing and branch leveling initiatives.
Design efficient delivery routes by creating daily service delivery plans requiring fewer trucks, miles and CSR’s
Improve branch productivity by determining optimal fleet size and territory assignments
Generate modeling scenario savings reports for operational decision making.
Provide support to existing branch operations by modeling existing route schedules and recom-mending improvements.
Utilize compliance and performance metrics to model and improve operational efficiencies.
Support special projects such as franchise takeovers, district realignments and major branch re-balancing.
Ensure Branch Images are requested from IT and are accurately imported/exported into modeling software
As required provide training on Shred-it operating systems
Update and sustain project and operational process management templates
Update, modify and adjust Team Intranet Site

Job Requirements

• Must have a minimum two (2) years experience working within a transportation environment
• Must at a minimum hold an university Bachelor degree
• Must have previous experience Importing and Exporting Images
