Job Description

As part of the Corporate HR Culture Department, this position will drive forward greater team member engagement and retention strategies in support of Business Transformation initiatives through collaboration and partnership with HR subject matter experts and leaders across the company. In addition to planning, developing, and implementing global engagement programs, this position will also perform a wide variety of duties which include but are not limited to project management, project implementation, analytical reporting, high-level communications, program marketing campaigns, social media branding, literature development, training and education content development, and other general support for all global engagement initiatives.
Key Position Activities:
1) Partnering with front line leaders to identify trends and develop action plans to drive change using various channels such as focus groups, leadership feedback, and team member surveys.
2) Utilizing analytical data from feedback channels to provide consultation and recommendations for leadership support to include companywide training/educational initiatives, program development or modification to increase engagement and retention efforts.
3) Overall project management and implementation for engagement/retention initiatives and projects ensuring execution deadlines are met. This consists of documenting project specifics, owners, and timelines for major milestones and associated tasks in a project tracking tool. This includes upkeep status notes and progress percentage completion rates.
4) Measure impact of new engagement initiatives against key performance indicators and metrics to monitor effectiveness of existing programs and initiatives making recommended changes if needed.
5) Draft communication, manage and update content and provide administrative support to promote all global cultural programs and initiatives on an ongoing basis. Responsible for distribution through all department channels, such as SteriTV, Sharepoint sites, SteriCares sites, Social Media, LMS, and other communication channels in adherence with company branding guidelines.
6) Scope, develop, organize and/or maintain literature and materials for all culture programs. Working with applicable vendors for translations of material as needed for global expansion.
7) Creating presentation decks and facilitation of training to all levels of management (including executive leadership), business partners, cultural committees, and team members across all business units to support the execution of culture and engagement initiatives and retention efforts. This includes scheduling training sessions, webinars, conference calls, or other meetings on an ongoing basis.
8) Partnering with Internal Communication teams to improve reach and penetration of all culture communications, as well as assist with any additional process improvements to improve the culture impact and brand.
9) Generate, review, and provide summary of data analysis trends and recommendations on employer branded sites such as Glassdoor. This includes ghost writing responses to positive and negative reviews accordingly to improve employer brand rating. Escalating reviews of concern to HR and coordinating efforts with all levels of management on appropriate responses. Track, categorize, and summarize review trends identified in a monthly report.
10) Administer, track, dashboard and trend all culture department monthly Key Performance Indicators as well as assist Director of Strategic Programs in scoping and managing progress on culture department business plans
11) Provide data and logistical support during annual engagement process to include but not limited to, establishing and maintaining data integrity by creating and maintaining the employee data file, first line support contact for team members to retrieve passwords during the survey, and for managers, training who need system access, password resets, or reporting assistance. Responsibilities also include administrative support and tracking completion rates and being a collaborative partner to leaders during the action planning process.
12) Manage culture internal relations with all team members by responding in a timely and positive manner to all inquiries, comments and suggestions.
13) Assist in planning, conversion, training, and communications for culture onboarding and integration for newly acquired businesses. This includes generating and exporting results for the Culture IQ survey, culture poster orders, manager culture onboarding training, and culture ambassador selection process. Coordination and participation of integration planning needs may also be required.
14) Administers donation process and communication campaigns for SteriCares Hardship Fund and acts as a liaison with team member/ and or family and Stericycle through crisis and celebration. This includes running a bi-weekly enrollment/donation change report from survey monkey and updating the upload spreadsheets for US and Canada and submitting changes to payroll by the payroll deadline.
15) Strive to continuously provide input to improve all functions, responsibilities and activities of position description. Support and/or participate in Continuous Improvement Team activities.
16) Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Job Requirements

• Education equivalent to College Degree or equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong organizational, detail oriented and process driven skills.
• Five or more years of Human Resources employee relations experience required.
• Experience in change mangement, engagement and retention efforts through Business Transformation strongly preferred
• Experience working with large global organizations with diverse employee demographics strongly preferred
• Five or more years of experience in project management and implementation demonstrating the ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
• Experience working with all levels of management and team members and the ability to work with cross functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey strategies and complex information effectively within all levels of the organization
• Demonstrates proficiency with all Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook; experience in webinar administration
• Demonstrates technical knowledge in social media content management, strongly preferred
