Job Description


The Financial Analyst Sr. is responsible for governance and administration of the monthly financial forecast, the annual budget, and long range plan.  This role will also liaise with Business Unit and Regional contacts in order to consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual variance commentary for review by Corporate FP&A and Senior Management. The Financial Analyst Sr. will also conduct on-going and ad hoc analysis utilizing various systems and data sources to transform data points into meaningful analyses and reporting.

  • Administer and govern the submittal of monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycle requirements from the Field FP&A teams at Stericycle
  • Consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis commentary from Business Unit and Regional FP&A Teams
  • Provides analysis for all areas of the company in support of the business needs.
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.  This includes but is not limited to providing support to finance and / or other teams and special projects as needed.
  • Look for and implement process improvements within Corporate FP&A Department
  • Prepare reporting and supporting information in assistance of quarterly earnings preparation for Director of FP&A and Executive Team Review
  • Assist in the development of Dashboarding, KPI reporting, and analytics via technology platforms in conjunction with internal and external IT partners
  • Assist in data requests and reporting related to Business Transformation initiatives as needed
  • Act as administrator within FP&A BPC model for enterprise structure items such as financial metric definitions, hierarchies, categories, and foreign exchange scenarios.

Job Requirements


  • Education equivalent to Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, or the equivalent in related work experience.  CPA is a plus.
  • Five or more years of accounting and data and/or financial analysis experience preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience. 
  • Demonstrates sound knowledge of various financial policies, procedures, reporting and systems.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in financial software and other systems including: SQL experience, SAP S4/HANA, Alteryx, and Tableau. Adept at learning new technical skills and software quickly.
