Job Description

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to focus on ServiceNow IT Service and Operations management platform. You will be helping shape and design incident, problem, change, and asset and knowledge management across the enterprise’s service management. You provide expertise with discovery, event management, operational intelligence and CMDB for the enterprise’s Operations Management. This position also provides technical leadership and escalation for End User Technology and Client Services teams in resolving incidents, fulfilling work requests, and completing project deliverables. This position may require travel to interact with team members and business partners as needed for project activities. 

Job Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of installation experience as a ServiceNow system administrator, including ServiceNow IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations Management (ITOM) experience
  • Develop solutions that support the ITIL processes - Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Project,
  • Knowledge, CMDB and Asset/Discovery
  • Development/configuration efforts of the ServiceNow application
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex ServiceNow workflows
  • Implementation of ServiceNow for ITSM, Discovery, Orchestration
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications
  • Coordinate application and platform upgrades
  • Perform day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow ITSM module
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions for continual service improvement
  • Champion efforts to maintain ServiceNow industry best practices.
  • Monitor system stability and performance metrics to prevent service degradation or interruption
  • Participate in day-to-day interactions with client management and interface with senior management
  • Develop, document, and provide feedback on processes, workflows and standard operating procedures for service center
  • Develop and present presentations to clients and company senior leadership
  • Identify opportunities for and implement service improvements across all functional areas (e.g., training, knowledge management, documentation, service center processes)
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working in a global organization a plus.
  • 4 year University degree (BS, BA, or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • ServiceNow system administrator certification
