Job Description


The Manager, Expert Solutions is responsible and accountable for all activities related to the ongoing development and management of the operations group for the warehouse in Scarborough, Ontario.

Key Job Activities:

-       Communicate to Operations;

-       Identify trends/training opportunities; May have to participate in training;

-       Assist in development of SOPs as required;

-       Represent the Returns and Recall Management Services on all related initiatives as assigned. Collaborate with internal and external staff.

-       Vendor Management;

-       Warehouse Management duties such as direct supervision of staff to ensure peak efficiency of all ongoing projects;

-       Completion of Federal Manifests and internal Combination Bills;

-       Computerized tracking of product;

-       Completion of required reports and inspection paperwork;

-       Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures;

-       Material receiving & storage, material handling, outbound shipment, inventory management;

-       Health & Safety;

-       Assist in guiding the warehouse staff in the daily duties;

-       Assist in the general operations from receipt to final shipment;

-       Handling/overseeing production scheduling;

-       Assisting with the co-ordination of warehouse/equipment maintenance and repairs;

-       Processing and scanning of consumer products that have been returned through the reverse supply chain;

-       Processing and scanning duties to include use of barcode scanners, computers, proprietary software.

Job Requirements


 

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong Supervisorial and leadership skills.    

Five or more years of pharmaceutical processing experience, including three or more years in a Supervisorial capacity, demonstrating the ability to manage, motivate and train employees. 

Demonstrates the ability to analyze financial and labor reports.

Demonstrates advance knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MapPoint, Service Supervisor, DR Onsite, NCDS, Power Point and Access. 

Demonstrates a general knowledge of Health Canada Regulations and DEA regulations as required.

Demonstrates a general knowledge of Canada Labour Code, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, WHMIS, Federal and Provincial Environmental Legislation, Risk Management and Safety policies/procedures.
