Job Description

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Team Lead to support the inbound sales staff for the information security processing.  Implements campaigns to secure sales opportunities in assigned territories and industries, as directed by VP of Inside Sales, Inside Sales Directors, and Inside Sales Managers.  Mentors peer sales representatives to advance their skill set and effectiveness.

Key Job Activities:

1)

Mentors Inside Sales Executives as assigned by Inside Sales Manager.

2)

Adheres to sales objectives. Exemplifies success and leads by example.

3)

Achieves individual results at the territory level and supports revenue generation in open territories as assigned. Achieves these results/goals by planning, counseling, coaching peers, and reviewing results with manager.  In addition, maintains an adequate pipeline to achieve goals.

4)

Implements territory and account strategies to support and attain quota in assigned territories. As directed by their manager.

5)

Focuses the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers’ current and future needs, utilizing solution-selling models. Leads by example and through huddles and role play exercises with the team

6)

Participates in call coaching sessions and call listening sessions with peers and managers.

7)

Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Scope of Work:

Contacts

(Internal/External):

Ongoing contact with Shred-it prospects and customers in providing the highest level of sales execution and requirement based purge selling.
Regular contact with all levels of Shred-it personnel.

Financial Responsibility:

Adheres to established pricing for sales activity. Adheres to established budgets for the inbound ISE group. Adheres to proper discounting levels and approval processes.  Adheres to selling rules of engagement.

Direct Reports:

Team lead is a mentor coach and they have no direct reports. Rather their peer group would directly report to the ISM and the Team Lead would support as needed.

Indirect Reports:

All of their peer group in their assignment would be indirect reports.

Other:

* Financial Responsibility i.e., revenue, assets, budgets, number of accounts, expenditures, etc.  

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:
  •  Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in sales or marketing preferred, demonstrating good knowledge of business processes and order entry systems. Or Bachelor’s degree in other related field, with previous sales and/or marketing experience. Or two or more years of outbound sales experience, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and develop existing and prospective accounts. Must have experience with customer relations and support as well as exhibit leadership abilities. 
  • Show a minimum successful track record at Achiever’s Club pace for two quarters.
  • Understanding of CSS fundamentals and ability to train sales reps.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of information destruction industry.
  • Demonstrates ability to transfer knowledge to peer group in trainings, huddles and deskside.
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of SFDC, SAP, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates ability to leverage internal relationships with other departments to provide a world class customer experience.
  • Demonstrates and infectious positive attitude toward the job, the team, and the organization.
