Position Purpose:

In this role, the Strategic Account Manager will manage some of the largest health system relationships in the country. You will know the account inside and out and be well versed in the existing contract and terms. You will understand the client’s goals, strategy, and be seen by the client as a valued partner, trusted advisor, and problem solver. You will carry a quota related to a specific growth number and own retention and strategic planning of the account.

Key Job Activities:
  • Invest in your client by maintaining frequent contact and building strong relationships within the senior leadership, influencers, and decision makers surrounding the account.
  • Ownership of primary relationship. Build rapport starting with onboarding meetings and continuing through life cycle of the relationship. Strengthen bond through self-education of client by developing and maintaining thorough understanding of clients’ business including their products, services, website(s), competition, etc. as preparation for role as consultant. Manage and expand Web of Influence.
  • Conduct recurring business reviews and quarterly updates with all strategic accounts.
  • Create and maintain accurate strategic account plans for review with the ComSol Director, senior leadership, and sales, where appropriate.
  • Project management oversight including campaigns, initiatives, reporting, and issue resolution. Provide standard monthly activity reports documenting results of defined activities and successes. Provide interpretation of trending reports, as appropriate. 
  • Continually build relationships up and across the customer’s organization. Comfortable communicating internally and externally with C-Suite level executives.
  • Creating and delivering both solicited and unsolicited proposals.
  • Successfully prove to be self-motivated, maintain knowledge of industry trends, and demonstrate thought leadership.

3-5 years of experience managing complex Fortune 1000 accounts.

Experience in and ability to present business solutions and sales strategies to top level C-Suite executives in the healthcare and/or commercial industry.

Understands how to build and manage a successful pipeline.

Strong project management, time management and organizational skills.
