Position Purpose:

The Biosystems Service Coordinator role involves implementation of customer trials and full hospital roll outs.

 

Management of hospital site-based technicians and building a good relationship with customers.  Report to and support the Regional Manager Service, the position represents the key point of contact for customers for operational issues.

 

The role will involve extensive travel and flexible hours and workload to respond to customers’ needs and provide the necessary support to the team.

Key Job Activities:

Carry out operational aspects of all hospital site installations, working with the commercial account manager.

 

Ensure that company principles and standards are adhered to with respect to all personnel, resources, procedures and practices. 

 

Ensure smooth transition post customer roll outs.

 

Develop the commercial / operational interface.

 

Train Stericycle staff whose duties are to carry out a managed service within the hospital. 

 

Manage stock in both the north and south Stericycle plants by maintaining a stock inventory and liaising with the Knostrop wash line plant for additional requirements.

Education:

High School or equivalent

Experience (EMEAA):

The person will be a highly motivated individual with a commercial awareness, competent financial knowledge and extensive operational experience.

An excellent communicator.

Outstanding people skills with ability to build up relationships at a variety of levels both internally and externally.

A proactive disciplined organised self-starter who can work unsupervised and recognise the importance of working as a team.

General waste industry experience essential.
