Position Purpose:

This project management position supports the organization’s Project Management Office (PMO) by ensuring projects are executed in a timely manner and within budget. This role maintains established collaboration channels, ensures reports are updated and maintained, and assists in coordinating leadership meetings.

Key Job Activities:

Project Management

  • Support and ensure that the projects and initiatives are planned and delivered to the outcomes
  • Develop and implement project governance including project change management
  • Manage and utilize a central repository (SharePoint and Intralinks) of approved templates and tools for effective project delivery and executive reporting
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring key objectives, goals and KPI’s for project performance
  • Pro-actively and continuously manage project cost, risks, issues, scope creep, schedule, technical requirements, changes, action items and appropriately escalate, as needed
  • Partner with and manage stakeholder expectations holding them and yourself accountable to project commitments
  • Identify, develop, manage, and communicate cross-functional project dependencies
  • Guide, monitor, and coach project teams on project management standards
  • Develop efficiencies in project delivery through improvement of repeatable processes
  • Manage multi-million-dollar projects ranging from $2M-$200M

Project Planning

  • Implement an auditable project plan and tasks to manage the outcomes of the projects
  • Lead/coordinate stakeholders in requirements and scope definition for strategic projects
  • Schedule tasks and key milestones ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Manage change requests and the clear identification of impact on planned delivery
  • Identify creative solutions to mitigate resource constraints and other risks associated with project timelines and milestones

Change Management

  • Identify all impacts of a project and develop a change management plan
  • Partner with the appropriate SMEs to develop the necessary training and communications to address all stakeholder impacts identified in the change management plan

Project Reporting

  • Meet with business sponsors on a regular basis to communicate project progress and discuss issues or changes to project timeline
  • Effectively communicate with data to drive decisions at all levels of management
  • Effectively summarize project status information to support stakeholder meetings
  • Escalate and confront difficult issues with the project teams for resolution
  • Effectively manages “scope creep” by building consensus about the necessity to change the original project plan
  • Strong relationship building ability and cross-functional team management skills
  • Strong change management skills
  • Ability to identify and understand all the impacts of a change
  • Ability to identify and drive the actions required to address each impact
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned


Preferred Education: in Bachelor`s Degree or Business Administration


 Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree or Business Studies preferred
•    Experience in other related field or equivalent in related work experience demonstrating strong organizational change management skills
•    5 or more years of business Project Management experience required, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Outlook and Intralinks
•    Detailed/highly organized both for personal and project-based management and execution.•    Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred
•    Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise organized and diplomatic manner
•    Deals openly and honestly with people in all levels of the organization while building credibility and maintaining trust; perceived by others as being helpful and supportive
•    Demonstrates the ability to identify specific activities required to accomplish objectives, rank them in order of importance, and coordinate and take action to achieve desirable results
