Position Purpose:

The Marketing Manager is a pivotal figure within the Stericycle Marketing team, entrusted with driving key product marketing and customer event/tradeshow initiatives. Collaborating closely with Commercial leadership, this individual spearhead critical business projects and implements strategic initiatives to realize growth objectives. With a focus on structured program management and analytical prowess, the Marketing Manager navigates challenging, often ambiguous projects with finesse, relying on solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.


 

Key Job Activities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and launch plans to drive product awareness and adoption.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to gather insights, understand product capabilities, and translate technical features into customer benefits.
• Create compelling marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product brochures, case studies, and website content, to support product marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of customer events, tradeshows, and industry conferences, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, booth design, staffing, and budgeting, to deliver engaging and memorable experiences for attendees.
• Develop pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to drive attendance, generate leads, and nurture relationships with prospects and customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, and Creative Services, to ensure seamless execution of event/tradeshow marketing initiatives.
• Evaluate event/tradeshow performance metrics, analyze ROI, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.

Education:

Preferred Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a marketing, business, or finance-related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful product marketing strategies, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product positioning and messaging.
• Proficiency in developing marketing collateral and sales enablement tools, leveraging both digital and traditional channels.
• Demonstrated experience in event planning and management, including tradeshows, conferences, and customer appreciation events.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with event/tradeshow best practices, including booth design, attendee engagement tactics, and lead capture strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and delivering impactful marketing initiatives.
