The Instructional Designer will design and create instructional materials with sound educational theory. This position will be responsible for applying the fundamental principles of instructional systems design to all learning solutions assigned (i.e. instructor-led training, eLearning, webinars, job aids, reference guides, etc.). They will utilize the best practices while developing multimedia e-learning and/or instructor-led learning programs for Customer Experience team members.

Key Job Activities:

Design and develop time-sensitive instructional materials with a focus on meeting high quality standards.

Select and use a variety of techniques to design content and course delivery strategies for instructor-led classroom training, online modules, webinars, blended programs, etc.

Manage large-scale projects independently with minimum supervision.

Conduct needs analysis to include determining the target audience, job tasks, learner environment, identify learning gaps, and develop instructional strategies for effective learning solutions. Determine evaluation and assessment strategies.

Collect and analyze program data and participate in evaluating training courses and program effectiveness. Identify problem areas and make recommendations for course or program improvements.

Education:
Preferred Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent
Experience (North America & LATAM):
  • Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in related work experience 
  • Five or more years of prior experience designing and delivering successful blended learning curriculum in a high-volume call center environment
  • Advanced working knowledge of Instructional System Design 
  • Demonstrates intermediate working knowledge in the use of eLearning authoring tools 
  • Demonstrates intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  Must be able to input, monitor and manipulate data within these applications
  • Demonstrated ability to develop courses using rapid design skills
  • Communicate effectively using visual, oral, and written forms, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal communication and relationship building
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, setting priorities, and demonstrating excellent project management skills
  • Candidate must provide samples of work with application
