Position Purpose:

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading financial analysis for the Commercial and Sales organization.  This person will work across business units to drive monthly financial forecasting, plan‐to‐actual variance reporting, profitability analysis, financial modeling and various ad-hoc requests.  Introduce and implement best practices in commercial FP&A utilizing data driven analysis and decision support. 

Key Job Activities:

•    Partner with Commercial and Sales leadership to provide ongoing support related to financial results by understanding business trends and key drivers within the business to develop analysis-based recommendations for business decisions.
•    Drive profitable and sustainable results by advising stakeholders on risks and opportunities developed through scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.  Report these risks/opportunities up to Senior Finance and Business Leadership.
•    In partnership with the FP&A COE, develop in-depth analysis of monthly and quarterly results; prepare narratives around variance analysis to present to key business leaders and senior leadership.
•    Review, enhance and develop financial models, financial/operational metrics, reporting, or other analytical tools to guide business decisions.
•    Oversee and influence the company’s rolling revenue forecast process.
•    Perform other related duties as required or requested.  This includes, but is not limited to, providing support to finance and/or other teams and special projects as needed.
•    Partner with the Operations Finance team to understand components and drivers of Customer, Service Line, and Product Line profitability
•    Develop, enhance and track metrics and reporting tools to increase visibility into current performance and monitor/explain variance from plan
•    Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and execute projects, such as the development of new reporting capabilities.  
•    Evaluate current processes and develop plans to improve workflows.
•    Lead a team of Managers and Analysts to execute on core deliverables.

Experience:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field.  MBA preferred.
•    7 + years of experience, preferably in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Analytics or other relevant area.
•    3+ years of management experience.
•    Experience with financial modeling.
