Site Administrator – Transport / Waste

This is a key support role in a busy environment where you’ll provide an effective general administrative service in relation to all aspects of site administration for transport and waste operations. It’s a busy office and a varied brief, which means no two days will be the same.

Key Job Activities:

As Site Administrator, your duties will involve:


  • Carrying our driver debriefs and reporting information to drivers and the service manager
  • Inputting and checking consignment notes and transport data including carrying our driver debriefs, monitoring route logs and movement of waste off site
  • Maintaining general records on the companies bespoke systems and office databases/spreadsheets.
  • Responding to customer queries using the companies tracking systems
  • Processing purchase orders and reconciling monthly accounts
  • Assist site teams with customer invoice queries/sales
  • Co-ordinating office meetings and visits
Experience (EMEAA):

Ideally, we’re looking for a genuine all-rounder, with a proven track record of working in a similar admin support capacity within fast paced, commercial office environment, who can demonstrate:


  • Strong communication, listening and organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • An understanding of transport office operations, or a willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of billing functions and accounting principles
  • A self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic approach
  • Good IT ability and a commitment to providing a first class customer service
