Position Purpose:

We are seeking a results-driven application architect to lead our application rapid application development team. You will be consulting with business partners on application requirements, incorporating desired functionalities into application development plans, and supervising application development stages.

To ensure success as an application architect, you should exhibit extensive application development knowledge and experience in evaluating business needs. A top-notch application architect will be someone whose expertise in application architecture translates into optimized business operations.

Key Job Activities:

  • Designing major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware and infrastructure
  • Providing technical leadership to the application development team
  • Performing design and code reviews
  • Ensuring that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements
  • Collaborating with business partners to determine business-specific application needs.
  • Compiling and implementing application development plans for new or existing applications.
  • Technical leadership of the application development team and supervising the design, testing, and modification stages.
  • Demonstrating application prototypes and integrating user feedback.
  • Writing scripts and code for applications, as well as installing and updating applications.
  • Mentoring junior application developers and providing end-users with technical support.
  • Performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.
  • Documenting application development processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Integrating trends in application architecture in application development projects.


Required Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent

Experience (North America):

  • Experience in Application Development tools – Outsystems Preferred other rapid application or C# development experience required
  • Hands-on experience developing OutSystems web and/or mobile applications; OutSystems Certification (Web and/or mobile) preferred
  • Basic understanding of OutSystems DevOps (CI/CD) and Refactoring preferred
  • Experience in other web technologies (C# / .Net, HTML 5 / JavaScript / CSS) preferred
  • Experience with Agile development tools like, Azure Devops or Jira
  • Experience with CI/CD Continuous Delivery and Continuous Delivery
  • Experience with designing and deploying applications from POC to Enterprise Delivery
  • Experience with Web Applications, Portals, Customer facing websites, mobile Performing application integration, maintenance, upgrades, and migration.
  • Must possess a high level of competence in general knowledge of systems analysis.
