Position Purpose:

The Pricing Manager establishes, maintains and analyzes price reference documentation, and makes recommendations facilitating optimal pricing decisions by Pricing, Marketing Operations and Sales teams.

Key Job Activities:

1. Works with Sales Channel Leads, Operations, and Finance to develop, implement and maintain service price strategies/tools, including segment strategies for the various markets and channels.
a. Coordinate proposal development with Marketing, Ops, Finance and Sales teams.
b. Prepare/maintain multi-year cost/pricing models to include labor, materials, subcontracts, transportation, destruction, equipment rental, supplies, and travel and write descriptive pricing volumes.
c. Maintain and organize baseline price information, analyze and report on inconsistencies, and identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through price strategies
d. Monitor and update sales team pricing models with empowerment ranges (to include quarterly cross-functional reviews).
e. Establish and monitor processes for managing pricing approvals for new customers, amendments, and renewals.
2. Ongoing:
a. Provide project support and analysis for Ops, Finance and/or the Sales team, to include:
I. Validate sales quotations for accuracy and profitability, as needed.
ii. Developing and driving a Price Increase Strategy
b. Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management.
c. Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives, as required
d. Integration of acquired businesses to standardize pricing models
e. Establish/maintain a system of documentation, communication and review of internal and external comparative price data, including wins and losses due to price
f. Analyze market dynamics, internal and competitive pricing trends for comparison purposes, market opportunities, and margins in order to develop reports, procedures and tools for pricing.
3. Monitor market trends, completive pricing strategies, and assist Sales through the creation and modeling of solutions
