One of these solutions is the reusable sharps container management system known as Biosystems and a position has become available within the team for a:

Plant Operator/Fitter

  • Ipswich
  • 42 hrs per week – 4 on, 4 off Days & Nights
Key Job Activities:

As Plant Operator / Fitter, you’ll work as part of a team responsible for the day to day running of our Biosystems operation, spanning the receipt, emptying, cleaning and supply/dispatch of clean, reusable containers.

It’s a hands-on role, which will involve operating the wash plant, monitoring and controlling stock, preparing deliveries and completing relevant records/documentation, as well as participating in plant maintenance and visiting producer/customer sites to install fixings and holders for the containers as and when necessary.

Experience (EMEAA):

Ideally we’re looking for a related background/in a similar process environment, which will be supported by:

  • Good practical skills and experience, including the use of tools required for fit out purposes
  • A full UK Driving Licence, a strong team ethic and the ability to work unsupervised
  • The ability to lift and  move full and empty sharps containers
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, plus plenty of flexibility around working hours
