Position Purpose:

To manage all transport operational activities at the designated site to ensure the effective utilisation of vehicles & service delivery and the management of customer expectations in a compliant and customer first manner.

Key Job Activities:

Working in line with Company Service Operating Procedures.

Payroll, overtime, absence management and working time directive.

Stock Management.

Raise and control Proactis orders.

Driver Management.

Recruitment of Drivers.

Review driving license details.

Digital Tacho control.

Vehicle Management.

PDP’s for staff.

Ensure customer service levels are maintained.

Monitor and act upon Salesforce cases within Company guidelines.

Liaise with customers and account managers.

Review routes regularly to ensure efficient/effective use of vehicles and drivers.

Plan daily routes for drivers.

Manage Service Co-ordinator and any other staff who report directly to you.

Deputise for General Manager if required (site specific).

Attend National Service Manager’s meetings.

Experience (EMEAA):

Must hold or be able to obtain a CPC within set time frame.

Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Customer first focused.

Good team player.

Must work with colleagues in a respectful manner.

Enthusiastic and positive outlook.

Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Steripoint.

Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.

Good time management skills.

LGV licence would be advantageous.

ADR licence would be advantageous.
