Position Purpose:

Provides a full range of human resources administration and co-ordination support and services to our business units in the UK & Ireland through a business partner model with the Company’s management.

 

HR services include Employee relations and employment law issues, performance management, organizational design, recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and interpretation of policies, procedures and practices.  

 

Working with other members of the HR department, develop and maintain Human Resources and Employee documentation, processes and communications.

 

The Junior HR Advisor also supports the HRBP’s and Director with Employee Relations processes, including disciplinary and grievance procedures and investigations.

 

The Junior HR Advisor is expected to enhance the image of the HR function with a professional, proactive, customer focused approach, both internally and externally, and assist in the overall growth and expansion of the Company.

Key Job Activities:

Provide HR support to team members and supervisors (e.g., internal policies and procedures, performance improvement plans, discipline letters, termination letters).

 

Respond to inquiries from team members and supervisors regarding Human Resources policies, procedures and practices including policy compliance with changes in local legislation or corporate policies.

 

Support the HR Partnering Team with investigations, and change initiatives, taking guidance from the HRBP’s and Director.

 

Support the onboarding and ongoing compliance of all new and existing team members, provide appropriate contractual change letters and background security referencing as required.

 

Participate in the coordination of benefits programs, including administration and renewal, and the design and implementation of new benefit programs.

 

Provide support to various training programs and initiatives (e.g., New Hire Orientation, management training).

 

Provide input to the development of new HR policies, procedures or programs and assist with specific Human Resources initiatives as required (e.g., changes in local legislation).

 

Produce Monthly Reports for HR and Management Team and provide input to various Workforce Reporting initiatives.

 

Manage the background screening and checking for all new and existing employees as required (working with third party provider).

 

Provide administrative input into wider ER activities, including redundancy consultation documentation and note taking.

Education:

University/College undergraduate degree preferred.

Specialized HR training (e.g., post graduate HR college program) and CIPD certification an advantage.

Experience (EMEAA):

Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize & meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast paced and changing environment.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Strong influencing and relationship-building skills and ability to establish credibility as a trusted advisor to the business.

Resilient and fast paced, with the strength and flexibility to adapt and deliver within a changing and challenging environment. Ability to exercises wise decisions, even in the face of ambiguity.

Demonstrated project management experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, including specific research projects.

Computer skills, MS Office 97, EXCEL WORD, POWERPOINT & OUTLOOK & Database Management.

Experienced in a highly confidential environment.

Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources environment.

Strong administrative and co-ordination experience.

Experience in a multi-site operation is desirable.
