About Us:

Position Purpose:

Provide first and occasional second line support to all Stericycle users and applications across EMEAA.  The role will sit alongside the team of support associates and liase directly with the Senior support associates to look at ways to improve our service, the hardware we deliver and the processes we follow. The role will therefore also cover minor project work specific to these areas.  To provide IT support to customers based in and office, plant facilities or working from home.  Use call logging system to help prioritise busy workloads in an ever changing environment.

Key Job Activities:

Assign Service Now tickets in a timely fashion with regular updates to users.


Answer phone calls from various business branches and remotely assist users.


Hardware and software trouble shooting (PC desktops, laptops, iPads, printers, and document / barcode scanners).


Creating and terminating accounts where applicable.


Build new computer equipment and rebuilds of existing equipment.


Demonstrates the ability to effectively meet customer needs, build productive customer relationships, takes responsibility for customer satisfaction.


Demonstrates the ability to take responsibility for helping the team.


Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, organized and diplomatic manner.  Listens to others and responds effectively to ideas and questions.


Demonstrates the ability to persist with a specific course of action.  Must be willing to commit to the necessary time and effort to complete work assignments, producing a high quality of work.


Assign the queue of un-assigned tickets within all teams in the department.


Attend site visits where appropriate.


Required Education:  High School or equivalent.

Required:  IT Qualifications and experience with Active Directory, windows server. MS Server 2008 and 2012 administration. Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of software problems.

Experience (EMEAA):

Preferred Experience:  Good knowledge & understanding.


Demonstrate effective and appropriate skills in verbally communicating information.
