Position Purpose:

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for assisting with and /or correcting complex billing issues, 3rd party uploads, identifying and analyzing trends and generating various billing reports/invoices. Develops and documents methods and procedures, which relate to manual or automated systems.

Key Job Activities:

  • Runs more complex billings and completes sanity checker report as necessary. Investigates and resolves discrepancies. Recommends process improvements as a result of this work.
  • Responsible for credit creation and clearing per current credit policy.
  • Analyzes billings for trends and possible issues on a regular basis. Weekly review of responsible accounts with Billing Supervisor.
  • Assists or works on special projects, as needed, which require data extraction, analysis, UAT testing, training, and reporting of results.
  • Uses company systems to complete required follow-up and/or corrections on accounts.
  • Troubleshoot Key Account structure improvements to align with Shred-it client needs.
  • Complete monthly billing of responsible accounts as required.
  • Performs other related duties, as required (i.e., assist and coordinate invoice billing runs.


  • Education equivalent to an Associate’s Degree or the equivalent in related work experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 
  • Two or more years of entry level financial analysis preferred.  
  • Demonstrates an excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
