Position Purpose:

This individual will ensure all waste is unloaded from vehicles, waste is properly staged for scanning and processing, and that appropriate medical devices are recovered from the waste and shipped to designated third parties. The individual will perform the duties in a safe and productive manner.

Key Job Activities:

1) Operates sharps dumper/sorting machine. Sorts out appropriate medical devices from the medical waste, and places them into a shipping container.
2) Unload waste from incoming vehicles. Separates non-autoclavable waste to be incinerated. Separates containers that may have used surgical devices in them, and ensures that those containers are moved to the medical device sorting area.
3) Packs the recovered medical device shipping containers and prepares them for shipping.
4) Assists in other areas of the plant operation as directed.

Experience (North America & LATAM):
Preferred Years of Experience: 0-2
Valid Driver's License & Forklift Experience Preferred
