We are seeking a Cart Builder whose primary responsibility will entail assembling medical waste carts. This person will be cross-trained in standar Yard Jockey and Warehouse Worker duties which entails moving trucks from the dock to a parking spot on the lot, loading and unloading containers, and performing Warehouse Worker duties and ensuring cleanliness and security of vehicles and containers. 

 

This is a full-time, 1st shift position in Rancho Cordova working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Key Job Activities:

1) Put medical waste carts together.

2) Move all vehicles to and from the loading and unloading areas.

3) Unload waste from incoming vehicles.

4) Separate non-autoclavable waste to be incinerated.

5) Stage waste on the roll-off conveyor system.

6) Remove all waste and decontaminate waste containers and cargo areas.

7) Load vehicles with correct number of clean and empty containers, boxes and liners for next day’s service.

8) Ensure housekeeping issues are addressed immediately, e.g., spills are cleaned up, the floor is dry, debris is not on the floor, etc.

9) Assist in other areas of the plant operation as directed.
