Title:  Credit Control Team Lead

Position Purpose:

Leading and managing a team of Credit Controllers in trhe timely collection of cash, including promoting direct debits, controls credit, and manages litigation process.

Key Job Activities:
  • Manages the cash collections for the U.K. group of companies in line with the Group Credit Policy
  • Ensure Sox Controls are strictly followed
  • Manages the required legal process for debt recovery
  • Completes risk assessments on customers
  • Compiling management reports for KPI purposes
  • People and process development to constantly improve results within the department and externally
  • Works effectively with departmental managers to achieve cash collection goals through various means
  • Attend customer meetings to support the cash collection process
  • Support other areas of the business as and when required
  • Providing for bad debts in line with internal policy and adherence to SOX
Experience (EMEAA):
  • Proven ability to develop and motivate people
  • Previous experience of working with a U.S. owned business
  • Previous experience of working with the NHS
  • Strong team player with initiative and resourcefulness
  • Experience in a Team Leader position
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise accordingly
  • Sound commercial judgement is required
  • Accuracy/Attention to detail a pre-requisite
  • Ability to lead a team with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills, with good experience of using Excel and Word applications
  • Awareness of SAP and SALESFORCE.COM an advantage but training will be provided
