Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Cash Applications and Credit Control Team Leader, the main aim of this role is to ensure the timely and efficient collection of cash and payments from customers in line with our agreed terms. As a key part of the Finance team, the post holder will need to work effectively with the finance team and to be able to communicate effectively with clients and customers.

Key Job Activities:

1) On a daily basis, making high volume telephone calls to customers to facilitate payments with the aim of reducing debt and average debtor days

 

2) The logging and tracking of queries using a computerised CRM (SalesForce)

 

3) Working with the finance team to escalate issues when payments have not been made

 

4) The creation of electronic communication with clients and customers to confirm agreements and actions

 

5) The actioning of letters within the system as required to chase payment

Education:
Required Education: in GCSE
Experience (North America & LATAM):
Experience (EMEAA):
  • Previous credit control experience in a high volume work area
  • A good track record in successful cash collection
  • Excellent communication skills especially when handling difficult behaviour
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when record keeping
  • The ability to manage your own workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working within the finance team
  • Strong IT skills with good knowledge and skills on Excel and Word
  • Numeracy skills
