The Sr. Sales Executive will be working remotely but subject to change according to our company policy. The ideal candidate will cover , Montana, Minnesota, North and South Dakota and as part of their territory.

Position Purpose:

Secures new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste, and Compliance Service Solutions. Responsible for growing revenue and profitability. While meeting or exceeding established Annual Goals. This role will focus on the Largest Independent Healthcare Prospect Segment.

•    Provide expertise and solutions to help customers meet compliance requirements (moved from responsibilities to purpose)
•    Trusted Advisor with proven ability to articulate industry trends, competition differentiation, and strategic
•    Sell all Stericycle services to healthcare customers (RMW, SMS, Rx, CsRx, Hazardous Waste, Etc.)
•    Establish Stericycle’s value
•    Revenue growth and profitability in assigned region
•    Target new logos within territory.  

Key Job Activities:

  • Call and Schedule in person meetings with the Largest Independent Healthcare Prospect Segment and engage by selling Regulated Medical Waste, and Compliance Service Solutions to new customers by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, as well as, the value proposition for customers and strategic account planning.
  • Develop new business opportunities by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with prospects.  This includes outbound prospecting, Business Development Skills, Pipeline Building & Pipeline Management , RFP response coordination and leadership, negotiation planning and presentations, networking and developing industry knowledge, and follow-up to targeted marketing leads.
  • Builds and sustains strong, trusting relationships with new customers leveraging a dynamic experience with a subject matter expert & competitive expertise by growing the business over the future with additional services to meet the customers’ needs. Motivated by success.
  • Participate in market development activities by identifying areas/market within regions that are under-developed, traveling to identified areas and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration and increase sales through new sales initiatives. 
  • Negotiate and secure new contracts, while meeting or exceeding established annual goals and adherence to governance requirements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.


Preferred Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent

Experience (North America & LATAM):

•    Education equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Management, or other related field, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating a proven track record of sales for products in similar industry.
•    Seven or more years of direct and indirect hospital or healthcare enterprise sales experience, demonstrating proven solution-selling experience and complex sales process skills.
•    Wide range of proven sales techniques, with mastery of consultative selling approach.
•    Sound knowledge of Stericycle’s services(including specialized hazardous waste services), value propositions, and competitive advantages,.
•    Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•    A proven track record of driving and closing enterprise deals and ability to relate with and sell to C-level stakeholders and across business units; successful background in complex, executive-level sales processes.
•    Accountability for results and consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
•    Strong ability to influence and stimulate others to action; engages commitment from others and collaborates to achieve results.
•    Viewed by the Stericycle organization as a leader, capable of harnessing internal resources to assist in the pursuit, building of solutions, and solving problems.
•    Adept at multi-tasking and handling multiple, simultaneous, and competing initiatives at a high productivity level; operates with a sense of urgency and thrives in a fast-paced competitive environment.
•    Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement; generates new ideas and is a strong creative problem-solver.
•    Is an extroverted, confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive individual; exudes confidence based on generalist expertise; strong technical aptitude.
•    Passion and commitment for customer success.
•    Account planning and execution skills; strong time management skills.
•    May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
