Job Description

The Team Members are an integral part of the Call Centre team within the Communication Solutions business. This position is the primary interface with the customers on a daily basis and will be responsible for professionally handling outgoing calls for both non-profit campaigns and commercial or healthcare businesses while providing a superior level of customer service for our clients. We are seeking new talent to join our growing team and you will have the opportunity to work with some incredibly exciting and interesting clients!
As an Outbound Customer Service specialist, you will be responsible for presenting a superior level of customer service and professionally placing outbound calls to potential customers and/or existing customers on behalf of our clients.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including data capture, lead generation, and providing an exceptional customer service experience on every call. We have partnered with some well-known organizations and are extremely proud of the work we do!
•Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to solicit sales for goods or services, or to request donations for charitable causes
•Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers
•Obtain customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and enter orders into computers
•Record names, addresses, purchases and reactions of prospects contacted
•Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements
•Meets and/or exceeds conversion rates and dials per hour metrics as per the client’s expectations
•Follows all company policies as they appear in the corporate policy and procedures manual
•Participates in training and team meetings as required Reports to Supervisor, Customer Experience

Job Requirements

•Outgoing personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Computer Literacy required
•Knowledge of Customer Service philosophy
•Ability to handle difficult customers and objections while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
•Results oriented and customer focused
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
