The Web Development Manager is responsible for the strategic growth and development of web properties, such as Stericycle.com, MyStericycle.com, Online store, microsites, landing pages and other sites as needed. Pro-actively manage Stericycle’s online presence to improve the usability, brand positioning, marketing and overall business objectives. This position is the subject matter expert for online site structure, content and design.
Manage the evolution and maintenance of Stericycle.com web properties (e.g. websites, microsites and landing pages) through conducting user studies, creating prototypes, and providing ad hoc user interface consulting.
Pro-actively manage the day to day web enhancements and optimization requests from Marketing and other stakeholders

Own and manage web User Experience (UX), navigation, conversion points, and campaign landing pages this includes improving usability, usefulness, and desirability of Web sites in collaboration with graphic designers and marketing staff.
Collaborate with channel stakeholders, including internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Experience, etc.) and vendors, to execute Marketing campaigns on the web
Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) on websites to increase rankings, drive traffic, and generate new leads
Prepare weekly and ad-hoc reports to validate web metrics and performance
Participate on other assignments or projects as requested

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or experience required

Minimum of 7 years related web development experience owning and managing websites for medium to large corporations.

• Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Google Tag Manager with ability to rapidly learn and master diverse web technologies and techniques re-quired.
• Experience with an enterprise content management systems such as Kentico, SiteCore or similar platforms.
• Experience working with Web trends, Google Analytics, and/or other web statistics tools
• Proven expertise in SEO best practices and web optimization (such as Optimizely and CrazyEgg)
• Candidate must be detail oriented, able to exercise sound judgment, and observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of information received in the course of this position.

Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, including experience interacting with senior managers; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, manage vendors, and deliver tangible results
Strong analytical, quantitative and project management skills a must
Strong decision-making, solid judgment, critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving skills;
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize work to meet deadlines; and Self-starter with ability to work with limited
supervision in a fast –paced, office environment with group collaboration
