Position Purpose:
The Supervisor Credit Control is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Credit Control team, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the business in achieving its cashflow and risk management objectives. The role provides leadership, guidance, and escalation support to ensure high performance and consistent service delivery.
Key Job Activities:
• Lead, support, and develop the Pre-Legal and Post-Legal Credit Control teams to achieve collection targets and maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
• Monitor aged debt, proactively manage high risk accounts, and ensure timely escalation of issues.
• Oversee credit control processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve queries and disputes efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our 3rd party solicitors to resolve queries and disputes efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth end to end order to cash processes.
• Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, aged debt, and key risk areas.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce overdue debt, and strengthen credit management practices.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
• Act as the main point of contact for escalations and complex account issues.
Education:

• Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance function.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in relevant finance systems and Microsoft Office tools.
