Position Purpose:

Works on-site at various retail pharmacy stores or warehouse distribution centers and performs two functions, applying all applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA and DEA regulations: 
•    Scan, count, characterize, segregate, package and document various types of retail pharmaceutical product
•    Scan, count, characterize, segregate, package, and document various types of pharmaceutical DEA controlled substances. This position is also responsible for the preparation of all appropriate and required documentation to meet EPA, DOT and DEA regulations
 

Key Job Activities:

•    Provides services related to managing retail pharmaceutical product for return. Characterization of hazardous, regulated, and non-hazardous product. According to EPA & DOT regulations, properly label, pack and prepare boxes for hazardous product shipment.
•    Travels between customer retail facilities, through assigned territory.
•    Maintains and manages own expenses and travel schedule to ensure customers are serviced on a regular and timely basis.
•    Provide support for customers on processes, findings and regulatory compliance.
•    Provides written and verbal reports to customer and supervisor.
•    Performs other related duties as required or requested.
 

Experience:

•   Education equivalent to Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in related work experience, two or more years of industry related experience as a laboratory technician, pharmacy technician, service specialist, or the equivalent in related work experience.

•   Must possess a valid driver's license and prove own reliable transportation to and from customer sites.

•   Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry desired, but not mandatory.
